9/1 Imaginary Diva weighted to go well under Queally

Imaginary Diva runs off a career-low mark in the 2.05 at Kempton today and looks worth a wager at 9/1 now eased in grade and reunited with jockey Tom Queally.

George Margarson’s mare is an eight time winner who was last successful at Yarmouth back in August 2013 when landing a class 5 handicap off 54 in the hands of Queally.

She is now on a losing run of 15, but has been placed on five occasions, and has only once been partnered by Queally in that period.

That was at Southwell last March where the duo finished third to Spic ‘n Span in a class 6 handicap off 60.

It looks siginificant that connecriuons are now calling on the services of Queally again, at a time when Imaginary Diva is now able to race off just 45.

That is 9lb lower than when last successful and gives the nine-year-old a huge chance from a handicapping perspective – especially now dropped into class 7 company.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Imaginary Diva (9/1 Betfred, Paddy Power, William Hill – BOG)
