L’addition looks cracking value at 12/1 now returned to the polytrack surface in the 3.00 at Lingfield today.
William Jarvis’ filly made a winning debut over course and distance back in July when running on strongly to beat Primrose Valley by 1 1/4 lengths.
The runner-up has gone on to score twice since and is now rated 86, and the fourth home Local Time – who was beaten a total of 4 lengths – has gone on to win her next three races.
The last of those successes came in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket and earned her an official rating of 99.
That gives the form a strong look, and makes L’addition look potentially very well treated off a mark of just 70.
The selection went on to finish a solid sixth of 17 to Zifeena in a competitive class 2 nursery off her current mark, before disappointing badly last time out at Brighton when finishing just fifth.
I am more than prepared to put a line through that effort given the nature of the track, and it would be no surprise to see L’addition bounce back now returned to the scene of her sole success.
On the pick of her form she is undoubtedly nicely weighted in this class 4 contest, and another plus is that she is now reunited with Ted Durcan who rode her to victory on debut.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way L’addition (12/1 sportingbet)
