Battling Burnley worth a bet at 13/5 to beat Spurs

Burnley look worth siding with at 13/5 with Boylesports to win their Premier League home game against Spurs today (1.30pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1) and secure a vital three points as they fight to avoid relegation.

The Clarets have peformed better than many expected in the top flight under manager Sean Dyche, beating champions Man City 1-0 and picking up a point against current league leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

They have also played well on home soil and became a tough team to beat, and based on form on their own patch they would be 15th in the league.

I am convinced that they will be up for this and ready to fight for their lives, and although Spurs can be top class on their day they can also underperform with regularlity and you never know which side is going to turn up.

The Lilywhites have the quality to win any game, but if it comes to a scrap – which this is likely to do – then I feel Burnley will haev more fight and be able to deliver a knockout punch.

Striker Danny Ings has been supern for Burnley, and looks worth a wager at 7/1 with Paddy Power in the first goalscorer market.

In the correct score market, I am going to take Burnley to prevail 2-1 at odds of 12/1 with bet365.
