Tony Bellew set the record straight last night at the o2 by beating Isaac Chilemba in their re-match and in the process setting himself up for a WBC world title shot against the winner of Chad Dawson v Adonis Stevenson [June 8].
Bellew threw the better work throughout the fight but Chilemba moved well and proved as before that he is an awkward target to hit, but the BOMBER presisted and landed some good shots in the 8th and 9th rounds thus putting his stamp on the contest.
After 12 rounds the judges saw Bellew the winner as did I with 2 scoring it 116-112 and the other 117-112.
