IT’S been another busy week for us here at the headquarters of bareknuckle boxing

As you will have probably seen on out social media outlets, we have added Jack Marshman to the roster this week.

Fans of UFC and BAMMA will know all about the Welshman and he’s a quality addition to our team of fighters.

After BYB Extreme came in with their offer to buy us, they told me and Jim to go out and get the best possible fighters we could.

Jack is a fantastic first signing for us and there will be many more to come, so keep checking our social media pages !

Next for us is BKB 39 on Saturday, June 1.

That is the last show under BKB TM rules and as I wrote in last week’s column, everyone who has ever fought for us and helped us to grow to where we are today can come to the show as our guest.

One of the fighters from the early days is fighting on BKB 39, Jonny Lawson.

Look at Jonny’s record on BoxRec and see the quality fighters he’s been fighting bareknuckle for years.

He earned his place in out Hall of Fame the hard way.

There are two world-title fights on BKB 39.

Scott McHugh and Aaron McCallum clash in a rematch for the ultimate prize and Carl Hobley defends his world cruiserweight championship against Dan Podmore.

Hobley-Podmore was scheduled for Wolverhampton in March before Carl pulled out through injury.

Dan defended his world heavyweight title against Richie Leak instead and came unstuck in one of the fights of the year.

Dan gets the chance to bounce back from that next weekend.

Hobley-Podmore has the makings of a classic. It’s two big lads who like to launch bombs going toe to toe.

It’s a fight not to be missed.

Until next week
