Peveril Pandora shaped really promisingly last time out and makes plenty of appeal at 10/1 in the finale at Wincanton (3.40).
Jimmy Fox’s mare ran far better than her finishing position suggests when 7 of 17 to Kateal at Chepstow and has since been dropped 3lb in the weights.
She travelled nicely for much of the race at the Welsh track before weakening out of contention to be beaten 29 lengths without being knocked about.
Having started life off in handicaps on 95 she is now down to a mark of just 80, and on her best form that gives her an outstanding chance from a handicapping perspective.
Another plus is that connections are refitting her with the tongue ties she usually wears after it was left off last time out, and that combined with the drop in trip and better going is likely to see her in a far better light.
I think that she is way overpriced at 10/1 with Labdrokes, and at those odds she looks a solid each-way play in a race which lacks any real strength in depth.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Peveril Pandora (10/1 Ladbrokes – BOG)
