BROWN BEATS BARNOR BY UNANIMOUS DECISION

On Saturday 24th November at The Troxy in London, Super Featherweight hot prospect Max Brown beat the experienced Ghanaian Michael Barnor via unanimous decision over 4×3 minute rounds. Young Brown showed some real skills and class beyond his years on Saturday night as he dominated the first 3 rounds with great movement and combinations. coming out for the 4th and final round Brown went on the attack again this time getting caught with a heavy left hand from his Southpaw opponent, Brown seemed stunned for a while but managed to stay out of the way of Barnor as he came on the attack, Brown managed to regain composure and get himself back in the action. The final bell rang and Browns hand was raised. Max Browns trainer and Dad Russ Brown said, we had a last minute change of opponent who was far more experienced than Max with 37 professional bouts under his belt and this was only Max’s 2nd fight as a professional but we had sold a lot of tickets and we thought Max was capable of beating someone with so much more ring experience than himself. It was a risky fight at this stage of his career, but he did great and I’m very proud of him.
