Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire are trying to sign Manu and England defender Rio Ferdinand for next season.
Chicago Fire are prepared to put an offer on the table of close to his current UK salary of £120,000 a week as take home pay.
William Hill are now saying that Ferdinand will say “Yanks a lot lads” and be off to the USA next year and according to spokesman Graham Sharpe are offering odds of 7/1 on a move.
