Charles Molson makes plenty of appeal at 10/1 in the 3.30 at Nottingham today now dropped in class.
Pat Chammings’ charge was last successful at Lingfield 13 months ago off a mark of 87 and went on to run a blinder when a 1/2 length second of 17 to Right Touch in a competitive class 2 contest at Ascot off 96.
The five-year-old is now able to race off 93 and drops down into class 3 company having signalled a retrun to form last time out in a class 2 affair at Windsor when keeping on from off the pace to be nearest at the finish and be beaten 3 1/4 lengths sixth to Growl in a 14-runner contest.
That was a big step back in the right direction after three below par efforts and if building on it Charles Molson looks weighted to run a huge race.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Charles Molson (10/1 bet365 – BOG)
