Darrell Rivers looks on a potentially handy mark in the 4.30 at Lingfield today and worth an each-way wager at 25/1 on her first start on the turf.

Giles Bravery’s filly has only had four starts, all on the all-weather, and shaped well on the second of those at Chelmsford when fourth of 11 to Wanting.

After blowing the start and being slowly away, the three-year-old showed plenty of pace to recover and take up the running until being headed at the two marker.

Darrell Rivers then rallied inside the final furlong to be beaten 5 1/2 lengths, and the winner has gone on to score since and is now rated 90.

She also finsihed just behind two horses rated 74 and 72 going into the contest, and given how the race panned out that makes her current mark of 61 look exploitable.

Although disappointing last time out on handicap debut at Kempton, she remains unexposed and worth another chance.

She has also bagged a potentially good draw in stall 14 from where to bag the favoured stand side rail, and the stable are in decent nick having bagged a couple of winners in the last two weeks.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Darrell Rivers (25/1 Betfred, BetVictor, Sky Bet – BOG)
