This Friday London’s York Hall will be the stage for the long awaited return to the ring of hard hitting former WBO Cruiserweight champ Enzo Maccarinelli 32-5 (25 Ko’s) the 31yo Welshman now fighting at Light-Heavy has his first fight in 14 months since a devastating KO from Alexander Frenkel and Fridays 10 rounder will be against unbeaten 34yo Hungarian Gyorgy Marosi 12-0 (8 KO’s). Maccarinelli is now looking to set the Light-Heavyweight scene alight and become a 2 weight world champ with the prize being an all Welsh showdown on the horizon with Frank Warren stable mate WBO Light-Heavy king Nathan Cleverly.
Having seen Enzo at York Hall a few weeks ago when he was commentating for BoxNation he is looking in incredible shape and is going to be a real handful for any Light-Heavy out there.
