Euro 2016: Wales worth a wager at 6s to beat England

England are odds-on to beat Wales in their second game of Euro 2016 this afternoon (2pm KO, Live on BBC1), but the pressure is on and I fancy Chris Coleman’s Dragons to cause an upset at 6/1 with Stan James.

Roy Hodgson’s men through conceded an injury time goal in their opening games agaisnt Russia, who to be honest look a terrible outfit.

They currently sit third behind Wales and Slovakia, who beat Russia 2-1 on Wednesday, in Group B and I don’t believe they should be as short as 8/13 to win this encounter in Lens.

Wales really impressed me in their opening 2-1 victory over Slovakia, taking the lead and showing great resilience when their opponents equalised to come back and secure all three points.

They played some good football and worked very hard for each other, and in Gareth Bale have a world class player who is undoubtedly the most talented player in either squad.

Bale is superb at set pieces, and has scored six of the last eight goals for his nation.

I can see him causing the England back-line all sort of problems, and at 11/4 with Stan James to net anytime he looks well worth a punt.
