Farham weighted to strike at Lingfield

Farham looks on a handy mark on the pick of his form and makes plenty of appeal 4/1 in the 3.00 at Lingfield today now stepped up in trip.

Richard Fahey’s  gelding has only had five starts, and shaped with bags of promise on the first of those when runner-up to Darshini in a 10-runner contest at Sandown.

Farham keot on well to be beaten just a length in a race that has thrown up a whole host of subsequnet winners, and the winner is now rated 87.

That represents strong form in the context of this class 4  contest and suggests that Farham is well-treated handicap mark of just 72.

The three-year-old also comes into the contest on the back of two solid efforts, finishing a keeoping on 2 1/2 lenbth fifth fo 10 to Presumido over 1m at this venue and a good 1 1/2 length third to Pactolus over 1m 2f at Chelmsford when needing a stronegr gallop.

The step up to 1m 4f looks sure to suit, and farham remains unexposed and looks the one to beat of bottom weight of 8st 1olb.
