Fidux rates the standout bet pn today’s card at Taunton (2.45) now eased in grade.
Alan King’s charge was a smart juvenile hurdler, winning his first two starts after coming over from France and going on to finish a solid third in a Grade 2 at Kempton.
He also ran well when third of 12 to Call me Lord in a hot class 2 handciap at Sandown on his final start of the campaign off a mark of 133.
Fidux is now able to race in this class 3 affair of just 1lb higher and comes into the contest on the bvack of three solid runs this season.
In the last of those he stayde on well to finish a 4 3/4 length fourth of 11 to A Hare Breath in a listed class 1 handicap at Sandown.
That form reads extremely well in relation to this less taxing contest and Fidux also has the services of Kevin Dowling who takes off a handy 7lb with his claim.
So taking everything into account, this looks a good opportunity for him to get back on the scoresheet
