Oscar Rose looks on a potentially handy mark and makes plenty of appeal at 9/2 in the 2.35 at Doncaster today.

Fergal O’Brien’s mare was a smart bumper performer, winning once and running a fine race when a 1/2 lenth second of 18 to Dame Rose – now rated 140 over hurdles – in a Grade 1 at Aintree.

She has since shaped with plenty of promise since being switched to hurdles, making the frame in two of her first three starts and also running well when fourth of 14 to If You Say Run at Chepstow.

Oscar Rose also attracted plenty of support last time out on handicap debut in a hot 12-runner class 2 contest at Cheltenham won by handicap blot Marmello but got badly hampered and unseated at the sixth in a race which has thrown-up susequent winners.

She now drops down to class 4 company off an unchanged mark of 118 and judged on her bumper form that looks exploitable.

With the stable continuing to bang in the winners Oscar Rose looks to have plenty going for her.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Oscar Rose (9/2 William Hill – BOG)
