Gunners too strong for Moyes’ men

Tonight’s big Premier League match sees Arsenal take on Man United at the Emirates (7.45pm KO, Live on BTSport1) and the home side are fancied to come out on top at the 13/10 generally on offer.

Arsene Wenger’s men  come into the game on the back of a 5-1 thrashing at Anfield, but prior to that had been in superb form.

The same cannot be said of their opponents who are really struggling under David Moyes and seem to have lost all their passion and killer instinct.

The fact that they took their foot of the gas after coming from behind to lead 2-1 againt lowly Fulham at Old Trafford and paid the price by letting in a late equaliser sums up how they have become under their new manager.

Moyes has also never won a Premier League game away from home as a manager against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Man Utd (P48 W0 D18 L30) and that is a damning stat.

To me Arsenal are just simply the better side this season, with a better manager, and their strong home record suggests they will win this.

The Gunners have kept 10 clean sheets in their last 11 matches in all competitions at the Emirates Stadium and conceded just one in the other match.

They have won six of their last eight league games at home by a 2-0 scoreline, and that outcome looks worth a small wager at 14/1 with Ladbrokes.
