Heavenly River shaped well last time out and looks worth a wager at 5/1 to open her account in the 2.30 at Ayr today now partnered by Silvestre De Sousa.
Karl Burke’s filly has run well on several occasions, often looking as if she has more in the tank than the bare result suggests.
She posted her best effort for a long time 10 days ago at Newcastle when making good headway from the rear and keeping on well to be beaten just 1 1/4 lenths into third behind Mysterial in the hands of 5lb claimer Jordan Vaughan.
She now meets the winner on better terms, and looks the type that will benefit from the stronger handling she now gets from SDS.
Heavenly River does need things to drop right, but now has the perfect pilot in the plate and if building on her latest effort this looks a nice opportunity for the Ontoawinner syndicate owned four-year-old to get her head in front where it matters.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Heavenly River (5/1 BetVictor, Paddy Power – BOG)
