Hernando Torres has dropped back down to a handy mark and looks worth siding with at 15/2 in the 2.10 at Wolverhampton today.
Mick Easterby’s gelding scored over course and distance back in January off a mark of 60 and went on to follow-up in good style off 65 at Newcastle when only having to be driven out to score by a cosy 2 1/4 lengths.
The seven-year-old backed that up with two solid thirds off 72, including in a competitive class 4 contest at York.
He was then below four in his nexrt four starts, but that resulted in the handicapper cutting him some slack and Hernando Torres duly posted a much better effort last time out over course and distance foru days ago when headed closes home and beaten just 3/4 of a length into fourth behind Stree Force.
That run suggested his time was near, and off the same rating a massive run looks on the cards in this class 5 contest.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Hernando Torres (15/2 BetVictor, William Hill – BOG)
