Greyzee worth a wager at Wolves

Greyzee caught the eye last time out and makes plenty of appeal at 9/2 in the 4.40 at Wolverhampton today.

This Rod Millman trained three-year-old didn’t show too much in three maiden runs as a juvenile but posted a much improved effort on handicap debut over course and distance 21 days ago when fifth of 13 to Warrior Display.

After being switched left at the start and held-up well off then pace, Greyzee made good headway on the outside a furlong out and stayed on really well to be nearest at the finish and beaten 2 1/2 lengths.

It was a very encouraging effort given how the race panned out and one which suggested he had a race of this nature in him off his current mark of 51.

Greyzee looks to have been clearly brought along with handicaps in mind as appeals as the type that is open to further progress.

So in receipt of weight from all bar one of his rivals – the vast majority of whom are more exposed – this looks a nice opportunity for Greyzee to open his account if building on his latest effort.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Greyzee 4.40 (9/2 William Hill – BOG)
