Hull value at 100/30 to see off Spurs

Hull don’t have a good record against Spurs but at the odds-on offer look worth a wager at 13/5 with Boykesports and Stan James to beat them to today’s encounter at the KC Stadium (4pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1).

The Tigers have won none of the last five Premier League games against the Lilywhites ( D2 L3), and have also won just one of their last 10 matches in the top flight (W1 D5 L4).

However they have played well in  away draws with Liverpool and Arsenal as well as home defeats to Manchester City and Southampton.

Steve Bruce will also be looking of an immediate response from his players from a poor display last time out againt Burnley which left him enraged, and could have Nikica Jelavic back in the starting XI following spell on the sidelines.

He will provide a much needed attacking boost for Hull, and they face a side who have been lacking in passion and made their worst start to a Premier League season since 2008-09.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has criticised his players’ attitude, and I feel that will be tested to the full by a Hull side desperate to get back on the winning trail and put in a good show in front of their home supporters.

I can see Hull making this a tough and physical game, and think they will be up for the fight more than the visitors.

Therefore at the odds available, they have to be the play in another tough game to call based on current form.

The aforementioned Jelavic looks worth an each-way wager in the first goalscorer market at 9/1 with Paddy Power to make an immediate impact on his return to action.
