Idder is on a handy mark at present and looks worth a punt at 6/1 in the 2.05 at Carlisle today now eased in grade.
James Moffat’s charge landed a class 3 contest over course and distnace back in May off a rating of 112 where he was value for more than the 1 lenbth winning margin as his rider dropped the reins on the run-in.
He was then not at his brest in his next two starts before posting a much beter effort over CD in a class 3 last time out when rallying after getting outpaced two out and keeping on well to finish a 5 length third to the well-treated Barry Jack.
Idder has since been dropped 1lb to 113, just 1lb higher than when last successful, and also now drops into class 4 company.
It gives him evey chance at the weights of building on his latest effort at a track which clearly suits.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Idder (6/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
