It could be a case of tears for souvenirs for Ireland this evening as they take on Armenia in a clash where both sides can book a play-off berth.
Armenia came into the tournament ranked in the bottom third of the teams taking part but have been a revelation. They have won their last three Euro 2012 qualifiers, scoring 11 goals and conceding just won in the process. Against Russia prior to these victories they drew zip all at home and then had the temerity to take the lead in Moscow before going down by 3-1.
Ireland are in a defensive roll and have kept eight clean sheets in a row but will be without their talismanic striker Robbie Keane and at Daily Sport we think it will be far closer than the washing line indicates.
4/1 is a fair price for Armenia but we just favour a low scoring draw, which would see Ireland into the play-offs. 9/1 is freely available about a zip all draw but the main has to be less than 2.5 goals at around the 8/11 mark. Given what is at stake on the game less than 2.5 goals loos a strong call. Under 1.5 is a general 9/4 chance.
