King Arthur Back on 14th Jan

Armenian “King” Arthur Abraham 32-3 26 KO’s makes his long awaited return to the ring on January 14th against Argentine Pablo Oscar Natalio Farias in Offenburg, Germany. The bout with be Abraham’s first since losing to WBA Super-Middleweight Champion Andre Ward in the semi-finals of the Super Six World Boxing Classic.

Abraham a firm favourite with fans across Europe said “I want to put on a good fight for my fans, of course I have learned from my defeats. But now is the time to look ahead and get ready to fight again. I want to win back the hearts of my fans, and in order to do so, I need a convincing victory. January 14 will be the start of something new for me. I want to begin the new year with an exciting victory and then set my sights on a world title again.”

Farias 19-1 11 KO’s is a real hard nut who has never been on the canvas or lost a decision, his solitary loss was a disqualification for hitting on the break.

Chris Meyer of Team Sauerland said “We are looking forward to seeing Arthur back in the ring, we have found a tough opponent for him. The fight against Farias will be no walk in the park.”

The fight will be just above the Middleweight limit.
