Lady Bayside has been given a chance by the handicapper and makes plenty of appeal at 12/1 in the 2.10 at Bath today.
Malcolm Saunders’ mare was last successful over course and distance back in October 2014 when scoring gamely by a neck off a mark of 68.
She started last season off on amark of 72 on the back of that victory, and posted some solid efforts to make the frame on several occasions.
The eight-year-old is now able to race off 63, 5lb lower than her last win and a career-low rating.
It gives her a big shout at the weights if ready to roll at the first time of asking, and the booking of Fran Berry to do the steering is an eye-catching one .
