Liverpool a steal at 10/11 to beat the Villans

Liverpool look outstanding value at 10/11 to notch an away victory at Aston Villa this afternoon (2.05pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1).

The home side have won just one of the last 13 Premier League games at home against the Reds and their negative style of play always makes them worth taking on.

Since Kenny Dalglish returned to take over at Anfield the progress has been there for all to see and they are seven points better off than at this stage last season.

What has been frustrating for their fans though is that they been creating plenty of chances but failing to convert. The stats reveal that they have actually  hit the woodwork on 15 occasions and would be sitting in third place in the table if those shots had all gone in.

However with the likes of Suarez, Carroll, Bellamy, Adam and Kuyt at their disposal, it’s surely only a matter of time before things change.

But what is good, as far as this match is concerned, is that  Liverpool have a terrific record against the Villans the best defensive record in the league.

They have taken more Premier League points off Villa than any other club, and that makes the 10/11 on offer with Paddy’s looks a great punt

Maxi Rodriguez had been in terrific form of late, and at 9/1 with bet365 and Ladbrokes he looks worth a small wager in the first goalscorer market.
