Mick McCarthy has been cut to 4/1 third favourite by William Hill to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club after Wolves’ dramatic late fightback to earn a point against Swansea in a 2-2 draw.

The Welsh side were in complete control at half-time courtesy of goals from Danny Graham and Joe Allen and looked set to record a first Barclays Premier League away win.

McCarthy’s side were booed from the field at the interval and there was considerable disapproval from the home fans when he removed wingers Adam Hammill and Matt Jarvis for Nenad Milijas and Adlene Guedioura.

But Doyle tapped in after Michel Vorm could not hold a Sam Vokes effort, before O’Hara calmly slotted the leveller after intelligent play on the left by Doyle to earn a point and end a five-match losing streak.

“Without the late comeback Mick may well have taken over as favourite to be the next boss out,” said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills make Blackburn’s Steve Kean 10/11 to be the next manager to go with Sunderland’s Steve Bruce out from 5/4 to 5/2 second favourite after their 2-0 win at Bolton.
