Mission Complete has become dangerously well-treated and with underfoot conditions to suit makes plenty of appeal at 15/2 in the 12.50 at Southwell today..

Jonjo O’Neill’s gelding is on a long losing run having not scored since landing a class 4 contest at Worcester back in June 2014 off a mark of 108.

However, the nine-year-old has run well to make the frame on numerous occasions off marks as high as 118 and is now able to race off just 94

That is 14lb lower than when last successful the lowest rating Mission Complete has run off in four years.

It gives him  outstanding claims at the weights on the pick of his form in this class 5 contest, and he has proven winning form in the mud.

Although Mission Complete has failed to complete in his last two outings, and the slower ground may well help him and there is little doubt that granted a clear round he is weighted to strike.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Mission Complete (15/2 Stan James – BOG)
