12/1 Moon Over Rio can shine at Catterick

Moon Over Rio looks on a workable mark and decent each-way value at 12/1 in the 4.10 at Catterick today now dropped back in grade.

Ben Haslam’s charge is yet to get his head in front in seven starts over hurdles but did post a solid effor three starts back in a class 5 handicap at Uttoxeter when a 1 3/4 lengtn second of 14 to Wistari Rocks off a mark of 84.

He finished a neck in front of the third home Catchthemoonlight,to whom he was concedeing 5lb if taking into account that one’s riders’ allowance, has come out and won since to be rated 95 to give the form a solid look in relation to this contest.

Moom Over Rio was also in the process of running a big race and set to be placed at Sedgefield last time out when coming to grief at the second last in a class 4 contest at Sedgefield.

Although he has been put up 2lb since to a mark of 87, he has shaped as if that should be more than exploitable and now drops back down into class 5 company.

That makes him a big player in this, especially judged on his second in the grade behind Wistari Rocks,

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Moon Over Rio (12/1 BetVictor, Sky Bet, William Hill – BOG)
