Mud-loving Rafaaf handicapped to strike

Rafaaf has his ideal conditions in the 3.35 at Windsor and is strongly fancied at 7/1 to land the spoils.

Robert eddery’s charge goes well in the mud and is just 2lb higher in the weights than when winning over course and distance back in April.

He only had to be driven out that day to beat Highland Colori by 3/4 of a length off level weights, and the runner-up is a really progressive sort who has gone on to win four times and got beat just a short-head in the Ayr Silver Cup last time out off a mark of 91.

That is rock solid form, and makes the selection look well-treated in this off 75.

The gelding also shaped as if he was ready to strike last time out when staying on well to finish 4th of 14 to Midnight Rider in the mud at Warwick in a class 3 affair.

He wasn’t unduly knocked about that day, and a if he can build on that effort he is definitely weighted to take all the beating in this class 4 contest.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts each-way Rafaaf (7/1 Boylesports – BOG)
