NFL Preview – Charge into the Chiefs

The red-hot Kansas City Chiefs did us a favour when winning on Monday and
look the standout bet in tonight’s NFL action when they take on the
Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs (4-3) season has been one of a remarkable turnaround. After
losing 89-10 over their first two games they picked up a few injuries and looked
like a outfit with a disappointing season ahead. However they have bounced back
in style and  tonight they are looking for the first five game win streak in 9
If they are going to make it to five unbeaten they could not have found
better opposition in the shape of the Miami Dolphins (0-7). The Dolphins are in
some disarray at the moment and need a big game from Reggie Bush if they are
going to run them close this weekend. They also need to protect QB Matt Moore
better as he was sacked four times in the 4th Quarter last weekend.
Matt Cassel the Chiefs QB, really had his game going on Monday night and
with a similar display I think he and the Chiefs can take this on the
San Francisco 49ers at Washington
This is the fourth year that I having been following the NFL and during my
time I don’t remember the 49ers being any good so writing and tipping them up is
certainly a novelty!
They are currently on a five win streak and are looking to make it six in a
row for the first time this millennium. The key to their success appears to be
the defence who haven’t allowed a 100 yard rusher for 29 straight games.
With the Redskins missing Tim Hightower (ranked 26th in offense) this will
be a doddle compared to the assignments they have faced in recent weeks.
The injuries are certainly beginning to mount up for the Redskins and their
young QB John Beck was sacked all over the place last weekend. They are a team
who are suffering and while that is a shame for their fans it’s good from a
punting perspective and I am more than happy to take them on in this.
