Personal Touch has a good record fresh and looks worth siding with at 9/1 to make a winning reappearance in the 3.50 at Doncaster today.

Richard Fahey’s gelding won over course and distance on his first start last season, racing up with the pace before rallying strongly to beat Pashan Garh by 3/4 of a length off a mark of 78.

He then ran well to finish 5th of 14 to Dr Red Eye at Chester off a revised mark of 82, and went on to finish runner-up at Catterick off 78.

The five-year-old also wasn’t disgraced on his penulimate start last season when fifth of 14 to Piceno at Newamrket and gets into this off the same mark of 80.

That is just 2lb higher than when last successful and gioves him every chnace at the weights on the pick of his form.

Another plus is that all his best form has come with cut in the ground, and both his wins have come over today’s trip of 7f.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Personal Touch (9/1 Stan James – BOG)
