Presto Boy looks nicely treated on the pick of his form and worth a punt at 9/1 in the 3.20 at Lingfield today.
Trained by the in-form Richard Hughes, the gelding is yet to get his head in front after 29 starts but has posted some solid efforts which suggest hye has enough ability to win a weak clas 7 contest of this nature off his current mark of 49.
The include when a 1/2 a length second of 12 to Secret Bird at Chelmsford three starts back.
Secret Bird went on to follow-up when beating Chandresh by 2 lengths, and on line through that one there isn’t much between him and Presto Boy.
Given that Chandresh is 5/2 favoryite for this it makes Presto Boy look overpriced at 9/1 and well worth an each-way wager at the odds on offer.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Presto Boy (9/1 BetVictor, Coral, Stan James – BOG)
