Western Boy looks worth an each-way wager at 14/1 in the 4.55 at Punchestown today.

Pat fahy’s charge was last successful over course and distance in thos race 12 months ago when bearing Light That by 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 129 folowing a break.

He has since run well to finish fifth of 11 to Legostovegas at Listowel and now meets that rival on 11lb better terms.

Western Boy also ran a blinder when last seen in action on the level at Naas wehn beaten just 1/2 a length by Swamp Fox in the November Handicap.

He has been given a break since tpo freshen-up and is sire to be primed to the minute to defned his crown.

Although now 6lb higher in the weighst than last year and running off a mark of 135 he has been ratde as high as 142 in the past.

His course form is another plus and Western Boy looks sure to get the strong gallop he needs to be seen to best effect.
