Rainbow a 7/1 Beauty at Windsor

Rainbow Beauty is potentially well-treated in the pick of her form in the 7.00 at Windsor this evening and at 7/1 is strongly fancied to make a winning debut for Cheshire-based handler Richard Ford.

The filly won her final start as a juvenile in 2012 when trained by Gerard Butler and followed up on her seasonal apperance last year when winning a class 4 handicap at Sandown off a mark of 68 where she only had to be driven out to score by 1 1/4 lengths.

The daughter of Maduro went on to finish a solid third to Knight Owl at Leicester off 74, befoire finishing an excellent second to Magigue in a class 4 contest over a mile at this venue off a rating of 76 on soft ground.

She now gets into this lower grade class 5 contest off just 72, and also has the services of the highly talented Cam Hardie in the saddle who is terrific value for his 5lb claim.

If taking his claim into account, Rainbow Beauty is effectrively 1lb lower thahn when last successful and that gives her major claims at the weights in what looks a winnable contest.

Her handler has also done well with similar types in the past, and with ground conditions holding no fears she rates the best bet on the card.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Rainbow Beauty (7/1 Betfred, Boylesports, Paddy Power, William Hill – BOG)
