Soupy Soups shaped well last time out and looks worth siding with at 7/1 in the 12.40 at Wincanton today

Neil Mulholland’s charge was a ;pint winner in Ireland who made a winning debut in a bumper at this venue when showing good battling qualities to beat Templeross by a neck.

The winner has won over hurdles since to be rated 126 as has the third home You Say What who is now rated 132.

Soupy Soups went on to shape with pr0mise on his first two starts over hurdles when third before disappointing on handicap debut off a mark of 111 when finishing a well beaten eighth of 11 at Warwick in September.

However, he quickly left that effort behind last time out when posting his best effort to date over the obstacles when finishing third of 14 to Verygoodverygood at Ffos Las.

He travelled strongly for much of the contest before keeping on to be beaten 8 lengths and has since been dropped another 1lb to a mark of 109.

Tht looks very exploitable judged on his bumper success if taking another step forward.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Soupy Soups (7/1 Paddy Power – BOG)
