Class-dropping Giveitachance appeals at 14/1

Giveitachance is back down below his last winning mark and looks worth an each-way wager at 14/1 in the 3.10 at Wincanton today now eased in grade.

Claire Dyson’s charge is a course winner who was last successful at Huntingdon 13 months ago when scoring by 1 3/4 length off a mark of 100.

He ran well on seasonal reapperance when trying to win that race for a third consecutive time but has since disappointed when a well beaten eighth at Newcastle.

However, most of his wins and best form has come on right handed tracks and the asessor has been kind in quickly dropping him 6lb to a mark of 99.

That is 1lb lower than when last successful and the lowest the nine-year-old has raced off in two years.

It gives him every chance at the weights and Giveitachabce now drops into class 5 company for the first time in nearly three years and has a 60% strike rate in the grade having won three of his five starts in it.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Giveitachance (14/1 BetVictor, Paddy Power, William Hill – BOG)
