Steps And Stairs is in fine form at present and looks worth a wager to get back to winning ways in the 1.40 at Bangor today now stepped back up in trip.

The nine-year-old has won twice and been placed on three occasions since joining Henry Oliver last February.

In the last of those successes he stayed on strongky to beat Cusheen Bridge by 1 1/4 lengths over 3m at Southwell off a ratinng of 107 back in Augsuet.

Steps And Staris has looked as good as ever in two spins this season, finihsinga fine neck second over 2m 4f at this venue and a solid length third of seven to Absolutely Dylan last time out over 2m 5f at Haydock.

He has been raised another 2lb for the latter and now has to race off a career-high of 119, but that shouldn’t prove beyond him and the step back up to 3m is a big plus.

Steps And Stairs has a 42 per cent strike rate over it having won three times and been placed twice in seven starts.

The stable has also been among the winners of late, so taking everything into account he has lots going for him in this.
