Tallinski ticks plenty of boxes at Nottingham

Tallinski races off a career low mark in the 6.30 at Nottingham oday and looks worth a punt at 7/1.

Brian Ellison’s charge has had two runs over course and distance, winning once and finishing in the frame on the other occasion.

His sole success came over CD last April where he won a class 5 contest by short-head off a rating of 77.

He went on to be placed twice off the saeme rating, including when third in a class 4, and ran well here two starts back when runner-up to Bashiba in a class 5 off 73.

Tallinski then got badly hampered at the start last time out over 6f at this venue in a class 4 and it’s easy to forgive that effort.

He now drops back down intio class 5 company in which he has won once and been placed twioce in three starts off just 72.

It gives him major claims at the weights, especially now back over the mimimum trip and fitted with the blinkers for the first time.

With Ben Robinson also taking off 3lb with his claim, Tallinski looks to have plenty going for him in this.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Tallinski (7/1 Betfred, Boylesports, Betfair, Paddy Power – BOG)
