Teo Vivo makes plenty of appeal at Musselburgh

Teo Vivo is back down to his last winning mark and makes plenty of appeal at 6/1 in the 2.50 at Musselburgh today.

The gelding has developed into a smart hurdler since joining Pauline Robson and shaped well on seasonal reappearnce last year when fifth of 11 to Superb Story at Wetherby when attempting to give the subsequent County Hurdle winner 4lb.

He went on to finish runner-up on his next two starts, including at this venue when beaten just a neck by Holly Bush Henry in a hot class 3 handicap for the grade.

Teo Vivo then registered a deserved success at thos track when scoting by 1 1/4 lengths off a mark of 125 and was then far from disgarced when sixth of 14 in a class 2 contest at Haydock off 130.

He is now able to race in this class 3 affair off 125 again and that gives him major claims at the weights on the pick of his form.

Although well beaten on return to action last month in a novice handicap chase at Sedgefield, Teo Vivo looks sure to strip much fitter for the outing and the switch back to the smaller obstacles is likely to see him in a far better light at a track which clearly suits.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Teo Vivo (6/1 BetVictor, Betfred, Coral, Ladbrokes, Sky Bet, William Hill – BOG)
