Winning Draw looks cracking each-way value at 14/1 in the last at Redcar today (4.40).
Paul Midgely’s sprinter has been running well this year and finished an excellent second to Secret City three starts ago over course and distance.
He was only collared close home and beaten a head that day and now meets the winner on 4lb better terms.
That gives him every chance of turning the form around, and I can’t understand why he is available to back at more than double the odds of his old rival.
Bookmakers have installed secret City as the 6/1 favourite and seemingly ignored the form line with the selection.
The 14/1 with Stan James is an insult to his chances, and he simply has to be backed at those odds given that there is very little to choose between him and the market leader on the book.
