Toffees a tasty bet to beat the Potters

Everton take on Stoke at Goodison Park this afternoon (3pm KO) and look bankers at 3/4 with Paddy Power to bag all three points.

The Toffees have been boosted by the news that three key players – Sylvain Distin, Phil Neville and Jack Rodwell- are go into this fixture e seeking three consecutive league wins for the first time in almost two years.

Due to their Europa League commitments, Stoke have now played nine games more than Everton this season. The 3-1 win over Blackburn last weekend stopped the rot of a four-match losing streak in the top flight.

However their record after Europa League ties is one win, two draws, and four defeats and Tony Pulis’ side will struggle to improve that against David Moyes’ well organised outfit.

The stats also heavily favour Everton, as the Potters have won just once in six Premiership meetings between the sides and also recorded just one victory in their last 16 matches on the road.

I fully expect Everton to prove too strong and win this with a bit to spare, and the 3/4 available with Paddy’s looks massive.

Snap it up while it lasts, as I think they are likely to go off 4/6 shots come kick-off.
