Arch rivals Liverpool and Man United clash at Anfield in the first Super Sunday game on Sky Sports 1 (1.30pm KO) and it’s the visitors who simply have to be the bet at 11/5 with Coral to come out on top.

United have made a solid start under David Moyes winning 4-1 at Swansea on the opening day of the season, and then drawing 0-0 with Chelsea at Old Trafford where they created more chances than their opponents in a tactical affair.

Liverpool have also made a decent start and are unbeaten in two, but they haven’t convinced with 1-0 successes in those games against poor sides and simply don’t have the same firepower as United.

The Red Devils have also won the last three encounters with the Merseysiders, and are quite simply the better side.

They also have a certain striker in Robin van Persie who has a great record againt Brendan Rodgers’ men.

He  has scored four times in his last three Premier League appearances against Liverpool – twice for Arsenal and twice in two games for United – and that makes him look fantastic value at a standout 8/5 with BetVictor to score anytime.

In the correct score market the trends suggest a 2-1 win for United is worth a small punt at 11/1 with Ladbrokes as that has been the outcome in their last three victories over Liverpool.
