Up Ten Down Two makes plenty of appeal in the 2.50 at Southwell today now refitted with the tongue-tien and reunited with Nathan Evans.
Mick Easterby’s charge was in fine form this time last year whne landing back-to-back contests Newcastle.
The last of those successes came off a mark of 61 where he scored easily by 3 1/4 lengths.
Up Ten Down Two ws out up to 70 for that victory and had done little since as a result until ppsting a mcuh better effort here last time out here when a 1 1/4 length third to Lean Onn Pete off 65.
That was a big step back in the right direction and he now meets the winner on 4lb better terms.
The tongue-tie, which he has sported when notching all three of his career successes, also now goes back.
Evans is also 1-1 on him and back in the plate having guided him to his last success.
Up Ten Down Two also has a 38% strike rate in class 6 company, so everything looks in place for a huge run.
