Well-treated Jacob Cats can cash-in on class drop

Jacob Cats has become dangerously well-treated nad makes plenty of appeal at 11/2 in the 2.20 at Goodwood today now eased in grade.

William Knight’s charge was last successful at Kempton 15 months ago when landing a class 4 hanidcap off a mark of 81, and went on to be placed in similar grade affairs at Newmarket and Ffos Las off 85 and 84.

He is now able to race off just 75, 6lb lower than when last victorious, and now drops down into class 5 company in which he has a 50% strike rate.

The seven-year-old won by 5 lengths at Chepstow when last in the grade, off exactly the same rating as today, and that gives him major claims at the weights.

He also ran well at the track to finish a neck runner-up in a class 2 contest back in September 2014 off a mark of 80, and on the pick of his form is now too well-treated to ignore.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Jacob Cats (11/2 BetVictor – BOG)
