Well-treated Triple Dream looks heavenly at 9/1

Triple Dream is on a handy mark at present and makes plenty of appeal at 9/1 in the 2.20 at Lingfield today now dropped in grade.

Milton Bradley’s gelding is a three-time course and distance winer who was last successful at Kempton in a class 4 contest last February when gamely beating Dangerous Sge by a short-head off a mark of 81.

The 10-year-old has failed to make the frame in 8 subsequent starts, but all five of his runs in that sequence on the all-weather have come in class 4 company and the handicapper has cut him some slack.

He now drops down into class 5 company and runs off a mark of just 75 – 6lb lower than when last successful.

It gives him major claims at the weights and he didn’t shape badly last time out when beaten just 1 3/4 lengths when finishing fifth of 8 to Fair Value at Kempton when pulling too hard in the early stages.

If he can build on that then he is undoubtedly weighted to go well and looks overpriced at the odds on offer.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Triple Dream (9/1 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
