World Cup Betting Preview: Netherlands v Costa Rica

The Netherlnads look a rock solid bet at a top priced 4/7 with Coral to make their class tell and beat Coasta Rica in their quarter-final game tonight (9pm KO, Live on ITV1).

They have two world-class match-winners in Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie who have impressed and delivered the goods in the tournament so far, and have won every game and netted 14 goals in the process.

The Oranje have a squad packed full of attacking talent, and face a side who struggled to cope with Greece in their last game before going through on penalties.

That game will have taken a lot out of Costa Rica, and it may well be that the Afrcian side have reached their peak and don’t have much more to offer.

I really do think that the Dutch have what it takes to win this game comfortably, and Robin van Persie looks worth a punt at 7/2 with bet365 and BetVictor to net the opener and fire them to the expected success.

Over 2.5 goals also looks big at a standout 13/11 with 888sport, and I also like the look of the 11/8 on offer with Paddy Power about the Netherlands in the HT/FT market.
