Yeeoow is on a handy mark at presentt and makes plenty of appeal at 20/1 in the 8.10 at Kempton this evening now dropped in class.
Karl Burke’s gelding is a course and distance winner who ended a long losing run when scoring in a class 4 contest at Pontefract back in May off a mark of 84.
He hasn’t been at his best in three subsequent starts, but the last two of those have been in class 2 company.
Yeeoow now drops back down into class 4, and is able to race off a mark of 85 – just 1lb higher than when last successful.
It gives him a big shout from a handicapping perspective, especially on his back form.
The Ontoawinner syndicate owned gelding landed a competitive 15-runner handicap at Ascot back in May 2013 off a mark of 90 and ran a number of solid races to be placed last year, including when runner-up to subsequent dual Group 1 winner Goldream in a 21-runner class 2 handicap at Newmarket off 90 and third at Doncaster off 93.
Yeeoow has also bagged a good draw in stall 5, and everything looks in place for a big run.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Yeeoow (20/1 BetVictor, Ladbrokes – BOG)
