Adam’s Ale hot stuff at Haydock

Adam’s Ale has dropped to a handy mark and looks worth a wager at 7/1 in the 3.50 at Haydock today.

Mark Walford’s charge is on a ping loising run having not scored since landing a handicap at Ripon back in June 2014 off a mark of 72.

However, he did post some really solid efforts last season incluyding when a length runner up to Union Rose in a competitive 20-runner class 3 affair off 85 and a nose second second to Arctic Feeling in a class 2 contest at Catterick off 88.

The seven-year-old has failed to sparkle in four runs this season but that has resulted in the handicapper cutting him plenty of slack and having started off the campaign on 90 he is now able to race in this class 4 affair off 77.

That makes him dangrously well-treated on the pick of his form and if taking into account the 5lb claim of Rachel Richardson he is running off the same mark as when last successful.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Adam’s Ale (7/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
