Caspian Prince looks to have plenty going for him in the 3.45 at Epsom today and worth siding with at 12/1.
Dean Ivory’s trailblazing front runner is a dual winner over course and distance, and the last of those successes came in this race two years ago.
Caspian Prince has since gone on to land comeptitive 20-runner at York last summer by 1/2 a lenggth off a mark of 102, and ran a cracker his final start of 2015 when a 4 1/2 length seventh of 18 to Goldream in the Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye at Longchamp off an official rating of 106.
The Dean Ivory seven-year-old is now able to race off 104, and that makes him look fairly treated on the pick of his form.
Caspian Prince also ran well on his penultimate outing at Meydan back in February when a 1 3/4 length fourth of 18 to Sir Maximilian, who has won again since, and from stall 17 is drawn to attack.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Caspian Prince (12/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
