City slickers set to give Spurs a spanking

The big Premier League game today sees Manchester City chalked up at a top priced 1/2 to beat Spurs at the Etihad (12.45pm KO, Live on BT Sport1) and the title holders look worthy odds-on shots to secure all three pounts.

City have won six of their last seven league meetings with Spurs, and the last six games between the pair have produced a whopping 30 goals.

The Citizens have scored 22 of those, including when winning this fixture 6-0 last season and battering Spurs 5-1 at White Hart Lane, and another mauling looks firmly on the cards given.

Sergio Aguero has netted five goals in five league appearances aginst the Lilywhites, and that makes the Argentine look outstanding value at even money with Coral and Ladbrokes in the anytime scorer market – especially given that he is as short as 4/6 in places.

Over 3.5 goals also looks a decent punt at 5/4 with Paddy Power given the aforementioned goal scoring exploits when the pair have met, whilst in the correct score market I am going to suggest small split stakes on City winning 5-0 or 5-1 at odds of 40/1 and 45/1 respectively with BetVictor.
